WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
BASIC BIBLE DOCTRINES
I Corinthians 15:1-6 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
- Believe Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- Receive John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
- Stand 1 Corinthians 15:1 … Wherein ye stand
- Repent Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord
- Saved from the judgment of sin Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
- Saved from the consequence of sin Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Saved by the act of God Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
- Saved unto good works Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Only one way to be saved Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
